anyone know where a good ATA flight case can be had? I am thinking of taking the A6 on
the road as my main controller, and it doesn't fit the standard SKB cases.

Subject: [A6] Dust cover?
Anyone know of a dust cover that fits the Andromeda well?
Keywear don't recommend a size for it, although I wonder if a medium would fit. The
Yamaha KDC4250 looks about the right size, but slightly large. Any other suggestions?

The keywear medium fits perfectly. $20 at MF.

I have the Gator GK-261R ... it's about half as expensive as the Anvil cases. Admittedly it
has only survived the trip from Boston to Montreal as carried by UPS, but there's plenty of
room for bubble wrap to protect the knobs and endcheeks ... I don't see mine getting
damaged in this case. Anybody who has this case and has suffered, please comment.

Definitely Anvil for gigging. My Anvil case has extra dense foam on the
endpieces to secure it in place when closed, and there is air space
between the panel and the lid so it is amply protected. Mine cost me
$360, well worth it. I have used Anvil cases for over twenty years with
my vintage gear. For a while I tried other brands (Hot Rod, Jan-al) but
in the end I went back to Anvil.
Just call Anvil and ask for a distributor, then place the order for an
"ATA case with recessed handles and latches for Alesis Andromeda" and
you'll get the case I have. And you get free stenciling from Anvil!
