If you can get it to work, MIDI-Ox is fine for transmitting patches and banks, but there is
nothing A6-specific about it. Latest version is 7.0

The last thing I played with was JSynthLib, which IIRC works on OS X, Windows, and Linux.
There was an A6-specific driver for it written by Kenneth Martinez if I'm not mistaken, and it
